Denver Park Enhancement Project

Help DPR beautify West-Bar-Val-Wood Park! Project Details • Task: flowerbed weeding and trash pickup • Difficulty level: moderate - bending, pulling How to Prepare • Check the weather; wear comfortable clothing that you’re okay with getting dirty! • What to bring: Gloves, water in refillable bottle, sunscreen, hat, and sturdy footwear (no open-toed shoes). Waiver We require all volunteers to sign our liability waiver, which can be done on the day of the project when you check in if you haven’t completed it already. Health & Safety Guidelines • Stay home if you’re feeling unwell (fever, cough, shortness of breath). • Due to high temps and poor air quality, those at higher health risk are encouraged to stay home. • Practice good hygiene. Wash hands with soap and water for 20 seconds or use hand sanitizer (at least 60% alcohol). Additional Notes • All children must be supervised. • We love pets but they are not allowed on volunteer projects for their safety and the safety of our volunteers.
