Harvey Lake Park
Open Space Stewardship Project
Join Harvey Park neighbors and DPR to help restore vegetation to the shoreline at Harvey Lake Park! We will be tidying up the new growth along the Southeast corner of the shoreline, including pulling weeds and trimming around the fencing and the path. Meet at the work area here: https://maps.app.goo.gl/9MHoEeHU9G7uXejV6 Difficulty level: easy to moderate (sitting, kneeling, bending, digging) WHAT TO EXPECT We will have staff on site who will bring all the necessary tools and supplies for the task. We ask that volunteers please bring their own gloves, water/water bottles, snacks, and wear close toed shoes and clothes they don’t mind getting dirty. We will have extra gloves for anyone who needs them. WAIVER We will also require all volunteers to sign our liability waiver, which can be done on the day of the project when you check in or we can send you a copy to fill out prior to the project. You can bring those with you or scan and email them back to me. Youth under 18 will need a parent/guardian's signature. If you have other questions please visit our FAQ page. If you can't find the answer to your question there feel free to reach out. We look forward to seeing you soon!
